Nah, take it from me, an ex world of tanks player. Something goes missing when you can't talk to even the enemy players. being unable to talk to your own team ruins the game totally. Any ability to have teamwork disappears instantly.

the weird thing is that in valorant (which as a similar playerbase as league) i encounter almost no toxicity among my teammates even though there actually is a vocal chat in game

Either force voice chat or remove text chat, riot wants to pretend the game is a sport but doesn't want to be consistent, every team sport you have to have constant verbal clear communication, and I know the turds queueing up are too socially awkward but theres more competent gamers than not

So many pointless comments here, the only thing that needs to be changed is ranking based on player performance and not by having fucking teammates.
This would be massive change for everything
