Fermented Honey Garlic 5-month update!
You can start enjoying it after 2 weeks of making it but personally I think it tastes much better after 2 months.
There’s no refrigeration needed. It lasts for years ( life-time ferment). It heals the gut, strengthens immune and helps fight cold & flu. Eat a spoonful as-is or use it to replace raw garlic in recipes. Enjoy!

I had mine for over a year I just add to it when I run low...yes I eat it right out the jaw delicious

If your worried about pH, you can add a splash of raw, unfiltered acv and you'll have no issues. You can also cover with a paper coffee filter and secure with a rubber band or ring if using a mason jar. This will allow the CO2 bubbles to escape during the first couple weeks of the fermentation process. Stir daily with a wooden or plastic spoon. I leave mine for 8 weeks before i consider it ready for use 💜

I made this and added ginger, hot pepper flakes a stick of cinnamon and the juice of one fresh lemon. its GOOD for a cold and a natural antibiotic. YOU GOTTA MAKE THIS !!!

I just used a regular jar and don't tighten the lid all the way so the gas can. Escape in the beginning

@mamalindacooks Does the honey ginger mixture white layer on top after a week. can it be consumed or should it be thrown. There is no pungent smell, but i ain't sure if its normal

Hello, after removing the garlic I have stored mine in dark cool cabinet and it is super dark almost black. Is this safe?

Have you tried it with honey that wasnt labled "raw"? Like filtered or pasteurized. If so did it work the same?

I used that same kind of jar and when I flipped it over after a while it leaked everywhere is the batch still good if I get a different jar or do I need to throw it out and start over?
