How to Connect Alexa to WiFi - 4th generation

In this video, I will show you how to connect Echo Dot to WiFi by using Alexa App. This method works for both Echo and Echo Dot. Also, Alexa App could be either on an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad or android device either on phones or tablets.

The first time when you plug the Echo to the power, you should get a message saying "now in setup mode".

This orange flashing means it is trying to connect to the App. But don't worry if your orange flash light disappeared, we can still get it activated. In this video, I will show a way that no matter how fast you are, you will still be able to connect your Echo to the internet!

To make Echo to listen to your command, you need to use the keyboard, Alexa. So, lets try. Alexa, are you connected to the internet!

I just bought my 4th generation Echo Dot. I am very happy with its quality, both sound and built. I definitely think the new design is better than the old even though the 3rd generation echo dot was a great product.

Important - don't connect your echo with Bluetooth to another devices (eg. phone) prior to connecting it to WiFi. Connecting Echo to another device via Bluetooth could interfere with the setup process. Once, you've connected the Echo to WiFi, then feel free to connect to a phone or any other devices with Bluetooth. You can find the related videos below.

In iphone 12 pro max, only bluetooth option js available

If you did everything as in the video and got stuck on connecting to wi-fi, then check if your device is paired (bluetooth) with the speaker. If your device is paired with the column, then remove the column from the list of paired devices, restart the application and start from the beginning. For me it worked.

Hi,
I have done a blunder, could you please help me with this problem?
I have deregistered my account from Amazon echo dot from the app but not done on the Amazon echo device.
Now device needs to be set up in new location, new WiFi and new account.
How to do this since I have not checked the device and the device was in un plugged status while deregistering my echo account from the app.

How to re set my account with new account ?
