I am enjoying alexa, especially the music but I want to set up my coffeemaker to have her turn it on when I ask. I have the proper plug and hooked it all up but she does not recognize it. Any tips?

Thanks for the help. But if you set it up with your phone app and you leave the house with phone, will it still play music when you leave. Wanted to play music when I am gone for my dog. He needs calming music when by himself.

I have so many Alexa devices I can't count them all. I just got a microwave with built in Alexa yesterday and I haven't used it yet. At least it came with a complete user's manual and I won't have to go online to figure out how to use it, but it will require some deep reading.
