How to factory reset a UAP-Pro Ubiquiti Unifi AP PRO

i receive my ap pro as a gift i can reach the person that gave it to me to give me the password. when i try to setup it via the app, they ask me to put the credentials . my question is: if i reset it can a setup it as a new? or do they will ask me the same credentials

My AP AC Pro stays dark after the reset, also it is not visibel in the controller. What can i do?
