Finally got this crazy thing off. I didn’t have a cassette tool on hand but was eventually able to get it off with a channel lock! Just throwing this in here for anyone else with the problem and who doesn’t have the cassette tool. Good luck!

Got mine today, same issue overtight QR. Removed the Zwift hub thing with a chain whip and cassette tool, decent spanner, not the one provided, and it comes off relatively easy. Definitely more than 6Nm though. Would have thought finger tight would be enough for shipping.

I've the same issues as everyone else it seems! The Hub One might be a great product if only I could get the bastard quick release nut off to be able to use it!

It's a shame that the drive side quick release adaptor is preinstalled so tightly that it does not release! I've literally cut my fingers trying to release it with the wrench! I'm really not happy with this, sending it back!!!

I had to go to the bike shop to have the QR bolt removed. They luckily did it in 30 seconds with the right tool. Don't waste time trying yourself. This is so frustrating but there are no other solutions unless you have the right toools...

Same issue as everyone else…quick release bolt is too tight and can’t be undone, bolt is now stripped so device is completely unusable. How are they still selling these devices knowing they have this major issue?

Why did my delivery doesnt have the adaption cards with the drive side adapter?

We would like to use the quick release axle but we cant push it through the zwift trainer because the pre-installed adapter blocks it.

Mine arrived this morning, same issue as everyone else. The pre-installed adaptor is too tight and in trying to remove it, the wrench is stripping the grip. Shoddy

Same shit here. I’m gonna try and have a bicycle shop help me. This is ridiculous. My preinstalled adapter is already f*cked beyond believe. What a poorly thrown out product just to milk the holiday season. Get your QA in order.

Does the bike chain need to be lubricated on the Zwift Hub? I plan to use the bike only indoors for Zwift.

Same as everyone also. "quick release" adaptor is impossible to get off. £600 for a shoddy product built with cheap materials. sending mine back but zwift customer service is as awful as their products.

Hello, I have a Canyon CF SLX and it has a threaded thru axle, I can't insert it through the Zwift, I can unscrew the adapter on the side with the cassette, but not on the other side.
How can I solve the problem?
Thanks Ralph

6nm ? Axel through adapter on mine which I received is locked at at least 24 nm as this is max on my wrench… ridiculous

I think is video is quite confusing as you've tried to do both quick release and thru axel in one video - you should have made two videos so they would be easier to follow

Same problem as everyone else - the nut is secured so tightly there is no way of getting it off. It is unbelievable that zwift is sending out trainers that still have this issue and expect the customer to deal with it later.

hallo, ich habe ein Canyon CF SLX und das hat eine Steckachse mit gewinde, diese kann ich nicht durch den zwift einstecken, auf der seite mit der kassette kann ich den adapter abschrauben. aber auf der anderen seite nicht.

I didn’t get any of those cards. I think I got a return and repackaged one. None of my adapters are color-coded.

My Zwift Hub One is quite loud when pedaling, however, the chain runs cleanly in a line. Are there settings i can check?
