Excellent video, and my lock is mounted Rock Solid! I'm not sure about others or maybe an older design bracket but absolutely no metal is touching my frame because the base rests on the straps. Wonderful, well thought out design. And too easy to mount thank's to this video. I ran the excess rubber strap underneath the metal base along with the nylon strap through the loop, pulled it snug and attached the mount. I then used a square of Scotch 3M Double sided foam mounting tape underneath the end of the excess nylon strap to secure it to the nylon surounding the down tube where i mounted it. Never trimmed either strap which is a good thing in case i want to mount it on a different bike with a bigger tube or whatever. Solid!! and look's neat too. Thank you for posting this video!

Very good tutorial for installing the Kryptonite U-Bracket. Very clearly explained and shown and made it very easy for me to this on my own bike afterwards. I recommend this video rather than using the instructions that were provided. This was much clearer and easier to follow and understand. Thanks Kryptonite Locks.
