How to: Measure T-type chain length

1. Grab your T-Type chain.
2. In the SRAM AXS App, tap System Guides & Resources.
3. Tap Chain Length & Setup Key Guide
4. Select your bike brand, model, frame and chainring size to calculate the recommended chain length.
5. Tap the i icon next to Chain Length for counting instructions.
6. With a full length T-type chain, count down from 126 to the link number determined by the calculator.
7. Use a chainbreaker tool. Place the pin you want to cut in the chainbreaker, and turn clockwise until you push the pin out. Turn the chainbreaker counterclockwise, and remove the link.

Very cool - would be great to have this feature on the older AXS (XX1 etc.) components too

"System Guides & Resources" is not in my app (Android). Is there any other way to define the chain lenght?

How the sizing for bikes not listed in sram web. For example, I cannot find setup information for Enve Mog not I can input chainstay length of 420mm.

It would be nice if this system was updated with a wider range of parameters for larger chainrings, shorter chainstays, and mullet setups.

this excessive use of apps for bikes is starting to become very very annoying. one day we'll have apps riding the bikes for us while we're sitting on the sofa with our brains and bodies shrinking and getting rotten
