The scene with Nino casually polishing his medal is by far my favorite bike commercial ever. Well done SRAM!

Now you can bend your frame instead of a derailleur hanger! So innovative!

I like that bash guard option. Looks super neat and great for bikes with a chain guide already built into frame.

brilliant...
1. introduce a new, more standardized derailleur hanger to finally eliminate the mess they were before
2. get as many manufacturers to play along as possible
3. now you've got thousands of frames prepared for your new drivetrain all around the world.

A derailleur attaching directly to the frame would have been completely impossible before with what feels like every single frame having a different derailleur hanger and frame design around it. Now the market is becoming ready for such a radical change to derailleurs.

This is innovative and a game changer. Being able to shift under load alone is a worthy reason to upgrade. It’s also just looks very clean

Looks awesome... But my favorite part of bicycles on our digital world, is how analog they are. I wish this had a cable shift option. I understand why it doesn't, though.

I bought the GX AXS for my MTB a year ago, hit a log and bent the derailleur cage. SRAM doesn't make the replacement parts I need for that 400$ derailleur. They just sold the inner cage and I needed the outer one too. I felt outraged and vowed never to buy SRAM stuff again. Glad it looks like the next gen makes this part replaceable so I don't lose all faith in them. Also glad they made the shifter more adjustable which is ridiculously not ergonomic on mine.

I could see this also being the future of road riding. Shifting under load, no more bent hangers. So many pros.

I hope SRAM read there comments, please, please make a gx cable version, I really want to keep using cable shifting. This looks amazing and had so many benefits. But I don't want battery's on my bike.

I'm generally pretty hard to win over on new solutions to old things that weren't much of a problem, but that was a really effective advertisement.
I read an article on this a few months ago, and wasn't sold.. but I'm certainly going to do my homework on it now.

who ever your marketing department is needs a raise, I can't even ride a bike, and this video was fascinating, and the product, well I didn't know mountain bikes were designed so well they make mars rovers look bad.

amazing group SRAM!! small note on what many commenters have pointed out. that is not just the unreleased Epic, but I believe it is the Epic **Evo**! Look at the hollow EVO silhouette behind the EPIC logo on the chainstay @ 4:04 (this is similar to the 2023 evo models). Also, no brain decal on the SID unlike the spy shots of the '24 epic, and that also appears to be a 120mm SID. This means new Evo alongside new Epic, and more impressively, that they've likely squeezed 110mm rear travel out of the in-line "supercal" style rear shock. Supercal only 60mm <<<

Love the rear derailleur. You made it super serviceable and love the wheels not blocking. Good job again❤❤❤
