It seems that 24th STS and RRC guys are the quietest of them all.

Haven’t finished the video but it’s interesting that (at 1:25) he says in regards to delta “they want to know WHY you’re around them” they’re the best, they know it, and there must be a reason you’re in the same room with them. From the interviews I’ve seen a delta guy is super details oriented but also doesn’t lose sight of the big picture… he’s gonna find out why, or pass it along to someone that knows why, but he also already respects you due to the fact that you’re there in that room. I’m a civilian so this all comes from interviews like this but damn am I glad they’re on our side and thank you Dave for making sure these oral histories aren’t lost into the ether.

I am a nobody and have never been in any branch of the military. But in regards to Delta vs Devgru there is not even any conversation about which is the best at counter terrorism as Kevin Holland said in the interview that he served in Devgru and then in Delta, I quote his words verbatim from the interview on Songen channel 2 years ago minute 17.10-17.17 Holland said Delta force is the best counter terrorism unit in the world period. Devgru is the best counter terrorism unit in the water. I don’t understand how Navy Seals fans don’t understand this. Each unit is the most proficient in its environment.

24thSTS is my favorite SMU. Air Force. Aim High. The only thing that would be more forward operating would be a Space Force SMU and there isn't one.

Good stuff. A lot of Marines I knew switched over and loved the job and mission.

Spot on. Culturally different. D boys are not as social, while DG guys are social animals. 24th cats are the best, CCT and PJ's.

You can’t blame those that are expected to work independently for not being all hugs and kisses when they meet a new person. It’s the nature of the beast.

He's right, 24th STS is the best unit. They are trained up to tier 1 standard to the likes of Delta and Devgru and know the tactics of the rest of tier 1 units and can integrate with them seemlessly. They probably see more action than Delta and Devgru. They're probably the most dangerous combatants on any battle field due to the ability to rain hell on the enemy on top of being top tier trained killers.

Geez man, like every short is a Delta DEVGRU comparison.

"Delta never ask, every STS would tell us after a few beers on my GWOT deployments

Great answer on why he wouldn't go to "best unit in the world". Bc he already was in LOL. When I was in Airborne school, even thought I was Army, some of my best friends were Combat Controllers and PJ's.

The Unit is the superior unit, true grey men for real, real.

comparing these two are apples to oranges. SEALS are primary is temporary mission. Deltas are indefinite occupation mission.
