To be fair, they didn't "miss" the chemtank. It was Noxus' spears that moved it out of the way. Ambessa came in with the real kill steal. Vi and Jayce would've successfully blown it to smithereens, hadn't Ambessa swooped in at the perfect moment to convince Piltover they were incompetent and needed her. It was her plan, her fault. She did that on purpose.

i think people need to rewatch before saying something like this.... you can clearly see that the noxians hit that crazy monster with a weapon that causes the monster to tilt, and that is why they fail.

the whole situation is exactly how Ambessa wants to portray the situation, as if the noxians had to fix the mess piltover gard couldn't.

Their stunt brought Silco to the table and nearly got him assassinated. It would have ended things if Jinx hadn't lost her mind again- it doesn't click cleanly, but it's far from useless.

This scene was so interesting!
It clearly symbolizes that both zaun and piltover could have handled the fight on their own. Ambessa meddling in between is the reason for such chaos and further tragedy. It also shows ambessas war smarts trump over jayces booksmarts and vi's street smarts!

What about the shimmer factory they dismantled? They accomplished quite a lot for what little amount of time they worked together. They didn't even miss the chem tank, it was knocked out the way by Ambessa's soldiers

Lmao idk why but that was so funny to me, it was very dramatic them two working together to get that damn hammer to work and then they just missed, shot a nice big hole in some random building like damn them accomplishments when doing teamwork though 😂

Everyone talking about Vi and Jayce missing the chemtank because Ambessa's army intervened and hit it with a spear first, but ehat I remember from Renni's son being killed is Jayce was aiming at a chemtank and the kid got caught in the crossfire. They did kill him, but it was an accident; he wasnt who Jayce was aiming for.
