You have to be extremely careful with the dx's and all of that because of what they mean. I would consider this to be a proof in a set context and doing some nuances, but if you want to be completely sure that your proof is a proof do it by the definition of the integral (Riemann or not)

Sir it was very helpful. But I did in a different way and got the wrong answer. I don't know what my mistake is. Please help :- Let a^x = z, a^x lna dx = dz, dx = dz/(a^x lna). Now, int. a^x dx = int. z dz/(a^x lna) = z^2/ (2 a^x lna) = (a^x)^2 / (2 a^x lna) = a^x/2lna. I would really appreciate it if you tell me where I made the mistake.
