It'd honestly be nice if Superman, the guy who Bruce has spent the most time creating fail-safes for, was the one to defeat Failsafe* and save him. It'd also be nice if they didn't have Bruce be such an unlikable and irredeemable jerk.

*seeing how Zur-En-Arrh himself was a contingency and he's currently no different from an ai program in a robot that was another contingency, I'm just gonna keep calling them Failsafe.

I've never understood why Superman doesn't just _move_ through Failsafe as fast as he can without damaging the Earth. It's a robot, he doesn't have to hold back on it like living things and he would turn it to dust in 0.001 seconds

Superman should still be able to easily defeat failsafe, it gets a bit old having to make him lose to these types of threats just for the story to exist (even if Supes is “holding back”)
