It doesn't matter what he thinks, if invincible or Omniman could beat Superman the proof would be in the story itself

You got a guy who can hold mini blackholes in his hand and punch through reality and can literally live in the core of the Sun like its nothing while also making him more powerful vs a guy who was going to end himself by flying into a blackhole and needs help destroying a planet and dies if he flies into the Sun for extended periods of time. Superman's source of power is literally stars. In the comics, Viltrumites one big weakness is immense heat, such as (guess what) a star.

Some missed feats of Superman’s incomprehensible might:
- He can destroy planets in one punch using the infinite mass punch technique
- He once flew so fast he ‘broke the bonds if infinity’
- He can’t be erased from existence due to him being a cosmic component of the metaverse
- Pulled hundreds of planets to a new galaxy
- His heat vision was used as 1/5 the power of a Big Bang
- His arctic breathe is cold enough to freeze ghosts (somehow)
- He once survived the Big Bang
- The Anti-monitor once blasted him with all the energy of the antimatter universe
- He defeated the World Forger (who is 6th dimensional and dwarfs Mr Mxyzptlk in power) in one punch simultaneously shattering a multiverse
