Watch As John MacArthur Says We Are Not Saved By The Blood Of Jesus

John MacArthur is a lot of things, but one thing he is not is a Bible believer. Why do I say that? Because John MacArthur denies the main scriptural tenant that clearly and plainly decrees that the payment for sin made on the cross was God’s own blood, shed to redeem sinners. As you will see in the videos below, MacArthur states repeatedly that the “blood of Jesus Christ does not save you”, and he go so far as to say that the blood Jesus shed was not God’s blood. That, my friends, is rank heresy.

Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of bulls and goats, but by his own “BLOOD” he entered into once the holy place, having obtained eternal salvation. Hebrews 9:22 Without the shedding of blood there is NO REMISSION of sins. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption, THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins!

JESUS.

Lev 17:11  For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

The headline of this video "John MacArthur Says We Are Not Saved By The Blood Of Jesus" is misleading without context; it sounds like it's insinuating John MacArthur said we are not saved by Jesus at all. He says we are saved through Christ's death but not specifically his bleeding. The phrase "the Blood of Jesus" carries a certain connotation to it. It's used as an expression, as in the power of Jesus, or more simply put, a synonym for just "Jesus" most of the time.

Even Christian rivals are guilty of the intellectually dishonest clickbait titles.

It is by Jesus shed BLOOD that our sins are washed away we are forgiven--and by his DEATH the penalty of our sins was PAID so that we can have Eternal Life! They were BOTH important and necessary for our salvation!

I've been telling people for years to stop listening to this dude. His followers worship him and defend him so hard that they close their ears to all the warnings all over the internet.

Heresy! MacArthur fancies himself to be wise. But God loves to make fools out of those who are wise in their own eyes. He doesn't come across ever as a confident preacher, doesn't seem to even believe what he teaches. Just a rank heretic. And he can't say he wasn't warned. Heavy head hangs on you, John MacArthur.
And thank you for your endless exposing of these wolves brother Geoffrey.
There is power in the Blood !!

He should be scared.
I prayed that God would show me truth because there are so many wolves out here trying to confuse us.
The next morning I woke up with a song STUCK in my head playing on repeat.
"Nothing but the blood of Jesus."
What can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of Jesus.
I had not heard that song in probably 20 or 30 years. Every time I hear false doctrine that song plays my head.
God is so good. If we want to know the truth and ask him for it. He will give it to you🙏🏼💗

It's the blood that saves, faith alone! Blood atonement!

Act 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. ( Hi Brother Geoff - this is Shannon K)

As a response to this video, we should compile every verse that shows the importance of the blood.
Colossians 1:14
[14]In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:20
[20]And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

When John talks about his so called enemies, he is talking about other Christian pastors who confronted him and corrected him using Scripture.

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Again, there is no example in the Bible of anyone “pleading the blood, ” so in that sense it is not expressly biblical. The phrase the blood of Christ in the New Testament is often used as a metonymy meaning “the death of Christ.” The blood/death of Christ forgives our sin, reconciles us with God, guarantees our inheritance in heaven, etc. Should a Christian be aware of all that the blood/death of Christ has accomplished for us? Absolutely. Should a believer be thankful for the blood/death of Christ? Of course, and expressing that thanks is good. Does a believer need to remind God of the blood/death of Christ every time he prays? Not according to the Bible. Do the words “I plead the blood of Jesus” give our prayers an extra kick? No, that’s more superstition than biblical prayer. Pleading the blood of Christ is not needed to defeat Satan. He has already been defeated, and, if we are born again, Satan has no power over us other than what God allows for His purpose and glory. We have already been “delivered” (past tense) from the power of darkness and “translated” (past tense) into the kingdom of God’s Son (Colossians 1:13). No need to continually plead the blood.

As JMac mocks the body fluids of the Savior of the world, the blood shed on behalf of EVERY person, Jesus is reminding me of the woman who merely touched the hem of His garment, and that, combined with her faith was enough that His power went out to her and saved her. He perceived His own power going out and turned to find who this was. He commended and respected her faith. In the same way, God the Father respected the offering of Abel because it represented the slain Lamb of God, and His precious blood shed. That this chump MacArthur has so much influence over so many people is a real tragedy. He actually is mocking the blood of Christ! It's unreal to witness a proclaimed christian doing this.

If the hem of Jesus' garment+faith is enough to save, how much more His blood+faith?

The blood represents the death. What if He had bled but didn't die?? Wouldn't have the same meaning now would it?? So, technically John MacArthur has a And he certainly doesn't DENY the death of Jesus being what saves us.

I really wish people would stop calling this man a heretic when he clearly loves the Lord and is His servant. He is a "holiness" preacher and people don't like to hear that they have to turn from their sin to be saved. He says "REPENT" and people say he is a "works" preacher. Not true!

I'm pretty sure one of the things God HATES is one who sows discord between the brethren.
