When my father committed suicide when I was 15, I kept losing after that. My mum died of a broken heart when I was 16 then I became a mother at 17. I had no one. Rocky gave me the motivation to do good, to become something, regardless of what family said about me. I'm 40 now with a corporate career behind me, a 21 year old daughter who is a talented fashion designer and in her final year of uni. I'm semi retired now and returned to the arts 4 years ago. Training in contortion, aerial, pole and chains. Who knew things would get better for me? Each time I feel that loss, the tragedy creeping into my heart, I listen to Rockys speeches and it keeps me going. ❤
