"The world aint all sunshines and rainbows, it's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. Me you or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it aint about how hard you can hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's hoe winning is done, and if you know ehat your worth then go out and get what your worth. And not pointing fingers at him or her or anybody, cowards do that and that aint you! You're better than that!"

This speech always inspired me, now as I'm undoubtedly fighting one of the hardest battles of my life against cancer, it just inspires me even more.

Edit: Just wanted to thank everyone in the replies for their support. You've all given me another reason to keep fighting.

I remember when my dad sent me this when I was going through a lot of self doubt in my abilities as a runner. Changed my life. Recently I sent this to a friend in hopes to help her, as well. This has changed my life.

I've seen a lot of motivational videos on this movie, well it's definitely true. I was in a hard place, and watched it, it was definitely something I needed at the time. I have newfound respect for Rocky because of this.

I sure need to grow a lot in that regard. Less complaining, more gratitude and moving forward

Dear mister Stallone, I hope someday you read this. I just lost my father a few weeks ago. This helps me going. Thank you so much and God bless.

This speech saved me once. Woke up on my bedroom floor paralyzed from the waist down. My room looked destroyed and had no memory of the day. I now walk but in crazy pain 24/7. My family is what keeps me going.

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!”

If you see this comment, just know you got this. At the end of the day you are your strongest ally and your worst enemy. We all face different challenges at different ages in life and this clip applies to all of it. Keep pushing and take it day by day and you’ll come out on top 💯💯💯
