I cautiously bought the game, and have no regrets. This game is so much fun, and I don't really care for shooters or live service games anymore. Support the Developers making gaming fun again.

Made it to level 35 and I am going back to lower difficulties to help new players get their feet under them. Dropping extra gear and showing off cool strategems.
All I want is more people to enjoy the game with and share the experience.

I think YouTubers should start talking about Helldiver's 1. Because everything in Helldiver's 2 is in the first game and more. But with the top view. It would be nice to talk about the big leap Arrowhead took with Helldivers 2, talk about what we could expect to come in HD2 by analyzing Helldivers 1. Everybody talks about Helldivers 2 without talking about its foundation. It's technically the same game but in 3rd person.

So, those "main character" moments were plenty last night in the gaming session with my buddies late into the night last night. Anything from horde tunneling with chargers and spitters with a bile titan as our objective also charging us. There was chaos everywhere, evac incoming, airstrikes going off, bombs exploding, turrets going brrrt. The game has a way to get adrenaline pumping in the funniest scenarios that Hollywood couldn't write.

I've been bouncing around twitch livestreams to see how people handle the game, if they like it, what they don't like, etc.
I've NEVER heard genuine laughter, joyous laughter from streamers playing a game.
It was always restrained, embarrassed, frustration-laughter, anything but a from-the-heart laugh.
And you can tell when it's genuine. Those streamers and their friends were having actual fun. Their eyes would light up for every charger dodged, every bile titan dropped, every dropship shot down.
To say it was merely "refreshing" wouldn't do it justice. It was invigorating to see people having fun instead of dreading a grind or getting frustrated over buy-me pop-ups, or pvp.
Great potential for the game to climb to the top and stay in the top 10 for a very long time.

20:54 Major orders completed without playing still give out rewards. I was working the entire major order of clearing one planet. Got home bummed thinking I didn’t get the 45 medals, but they were deposited.

From the very first time we played, my buddies and I have only ever heard the announcer woman's voice say, "Baunch Initiated."
It's the best. It's the baunchiest.

I was skeptical. Saw initial reviews said it was different progression wise from the first. Haven't played the first. When i saw Austin's review i bought it on good faith. It did not disappoint. When a game is made by gamers.... it's so good.

Helldivers 2 is the first shooter game my friends and I have had a lot of fun with since CoD Modern Warfare 2019
