This just makes me wonder how many other times this has happened and no one ever found out. I'd be willing to bet he wasn't the first judge to do inappropriate things with a defendant in their chambers

The judge is another example that someone could be very intelligent and knowledgeable on a certain matter and still have no common sense whatsoever. The woman is another example of someone who is completely self-serving and offering you something that seems too good to be true because she has ulterior motives.

Why is everyone suggesting he go to prison? He had an affair. It was against policy & grounds for losing his status as a Judge or even disbarment but it is certainly not a felony. If he was passing down wrongful judgements/sentences as a result of their relationship that's a different story, but that's not what happened here.
