The man who molested my twin sisters received 7 guilty verdicts and was sentenced to 150 years to life. I remember what it felt like to hear those verdicts read off. I’m glad the family got justice like we did.

I can’t believe how shocked she looked at the fact that the jury found her guilty.

What amazes me is that her step dad defended her. All I can say is he is lucky she was convicted because the next time he upsets her, she would most likely finish the job.

I took my daughter’s phone for almost 2 years. She was headed down a bad path, not with drugs, but just surrounding herself with bad people and being too obsessive with social media. Her mental health was horrible. I saw it, I felt it, I love her too much to let her go down that road. She got it back after she turned 16, when she should’ve gotten it in the first place. She thanks me often for taking her phone when I did. She’s an amazing, well rounded person and has matured so much since then. I’m so proud of her & glad she values me as a mother more than her phone or fitting in with the wrong crowd. Terrifying that this mother was just trying to do the right thing…

The jury was absolutely correct in their verdict. She was cool, calm and conniving throughout the entire crime.

Well, she wasn't expecting that. She seemed to think she'd get away with murdering her mother and attempted murder of her stepfather.
The court system doesn't always get it wrong. Thank you to the jurors and the judge for getting justice for Ashley.
