My first thought would be to have a psychologist talk to the kids privately to find out why they didn't want to see dad.

What's more shocking is that the father didn't stand up and defend his kids from GOING TO JAIL, just for not talking or having lunch with him. He did nothing. The mom too should have been screaming at the top of her lungs. Both parents should have. Shame on every adult there, judge, parents, and lawyers.

The father seemed perfectly happy for his children to be sent into juvenile incarceration because they refused to see him. That isn't love!

Even if the children were lying, even if they were "brainwashed" by the mother, sending them to jail was abusive and over the top. She should be disbarred.

Me and my children were abused physically and emotionally... I'm going thru the samething in my court as they tried to give visits with their father in which my children were terrified of their father! After one being strangled another being slapped and me being beaten and we had a pto on all of us to keep us safe when it was lifted he tried again for visits and the children still were afraid not by me brainwashing them but from the actions of their father.... He was ultimately deported for the crime and now wants the courts to grant him parenting time in another country! My fear is they will never return but still the judge is willing to entertain this motion... I'm terrified and so are my kids... Judges don't see the behind the scenes and need to listen to these kids and understand why they are afraid even though my ex was convicted of the aggravated felony charge of strangulation they still will not understand... This justice system is so damaged it's unreal

Those kids will be traumatized for life... Sickening. The judge should be in jail for doing that. How many other cases has she ruled like this? She had zero compassion. Before doing anything, she should have ordered for a psychologist to spend time with the kids and see if there is abuse. How would she know the dad is a loving father?
