Meniscus Bucket Handle Tear

A meniscus tear is a common sports injury that can occur as a result of twisting or turning quickly. A longitudinal, or bucket handle tear, occurs when the entire inner-margin of the meniscus is ripped, and becomes displaced. This may cause the knee to lock intermittently.

I had Acl reconstruction and partial meniscectomy of bucket handle meniscus 1.5 year ago.
Partial meniscectomy is the worst part of my life, I'm not pain free when I bend my knee at 130-140 degree my knee joint grind and I feel pain where meniscus was removed 😢😢

For anyone out there suffering from this injury who doesn't want to or cant get surgery.
I had many set backs but after almost a year it's finally healed.
The key for me is doing bodyweight exercises. Doing lots of Yoga and then doing heavy weights especially squats.
Just stick with it

You should do a observation of Temporomandibular joint displacement in the jaw. complex joint with bilateral movement!

If I bend my knee when the leg muscles are tense, my knee makes a loud clicking sound. I wonder if this might be kind of a reason. Doctors couldn't explain why this happens

I have a meniscus bucket handle tare and I have not been able to walk in 4 weeks. I will be having surgery in a few days, will I be able to walk again after surgery ?

This happended to me one month ago. It hurts occasionally and it feels like my knee gets locked, when i move it a bit it hurts a lot than something pops and it gets back to "normal". Still cant put my leg straight... Any advice?
