I put oil of oregano and my cold sore went flat within 1 hour and the white and bubbly stuff went away.. it burned bad but it was 1000% worth it. The creme for cold sore was doing and it takes forever ... oil of oregano 100% Amazing stuff

I love your channel! Topics are so informative and interesting. I get them only when a fever/cold is coming on (1x yr or so) and the best way to tackle it  for me is to treat it immediately to avoid the inflamation. What I found best for treatment besides, the overcounter ointments is the Herpicin chapstick. Its amazing, It will knock it out in a few days and its not the expense compared to the ointments. Doctors don't seem to know the difference between angular cheilitis. I got into A HUGE ARGUMENT with a physician about this.

Angular cheilitis is a common skin condition affecting the corners of your mouth. It leads to painful, cracked sores. People often confuse angular cheilitis with cold sores. Unlike cold sores, angular cheilitis isn’t contagious. This condition usually goes away with special skin ointments, medication or diet changes.

Hi dr Jen! This was very helpful! Thank you! I get cold sores 2 or 3 times a year so I’ve learned to cope with them and I also usually take it to mean that my immune system needs an extra bit of support (usually it means I need some extra sleep/rest). However, I often will also get other symptoms with it. Swollen glands and tenderness when swallowing, fatigue, low fever, headache and/or body aches, sometimes even nausea they say before the blister appears. I know it’s a virus but is it normal to have other symptoms like this. This happens usually when it’s a more severe outbreak (like if I have 2 or 3 clusters of blisters or they appear in my mouth or nose as well as on my lip.
