I’ve been getting cold sores most my life the best thing I’ve ever used are alcohol swabs only, nothing else!They prevent them appearing if you use one when you feel the tingling, they speed up healing if you already have one and they stop the blisters forming .. I’ve not had one for ages

Use ice and take Lysine while you feel it tingling. If the blister clearly has fluid in it, pop it. I know they say not to. But not only will it relieve the pain, it will make it go away faster. Just make sure you use a clean needle and clean the affected area with an alcohol swab. Use ice after for 5-10 mins. Use ice 3x a day, clean area after eating or touching, and apply antibiotic. (my fav is camophine) and take Lysine or ayciclvor (probably spelled wrong)

Here is the simplest way to get rid of cold sores. Just rub ur finger on your palm to warm it now place this warm finger on effected area try as many times as possible it will disappear next day 👍
