Why I switched to Mac from Windows.

6:44 I use paralells desktop app on my macbook to have a Windows Virtual machine to use whenever I want. I normally have Macos on my monitors and Windows on my Mac's screen. Or sometimes I go into "coherence mode" and have the Windows OS running in tandem with MacOS so I can use windows programs and mac apps side by side

I can understand switching to macbook if youre an Apple fan, but folk who switch to crappy Linux... that really puzzles. Ive used macs, though not for many years. But they were nice. Even the original old boxy shaped Macintosh was pretty good for it's time.

Basically you are locking yourself into the Apple ecosystem. No right or wrong, but that's not my style. I enjoy using Android and my main phone is Pixel 8 Pro, while my gaming is running on a PC. I do not want any distractions from my phone when working on my PC especially those irritating messages hence, I do not like the idea of integrating my phone into the computer. Face time? I use Zoom most of the time or MS Teams. So, I'm not missing anything here. In fact if I were to switch to MacOS, I'm not even sure if I will get use to it. Things like docking applications on multiple displays are so much easier on Windows. And speaking of external displays, I can easily using 2 external monitors with the Windows laptop opened. So I'm really skeptical about seamless integration stuffs you had mentioned if one is not a full fledge Apple user.

yeah i want to switch over from windows to apple cause I have a big apple family of stuff, but my problem is the gaming part, I want to be able to game on a laptop on apple with my hearing issues of cochlears, facetiming my friends and play games but on windows I cant, so I probably would just wait like a couple of years, (like 2 or 3 or 4) until the macbook airs gets more suitable for gaming

good video bro, watching on my m3 max macbook pro, i would say those mics you have dont sound good, it sounds like you're using the in camera audio instead of the mic, maybe try dji wireless mics or rode wireless go

I will say this, what apple does, other tech companies will follow. Even though I am not a fan of apple, they are inventors.

It's funny how everyone thought ARM chips are slow, but again apple proves them wrong, in fact it's even faster while being more efficient and cool to the touch. Now every tech company wants to be on arms race.

Hate apple all you want, but once in a couple of years, they change the tech industry, not just apple, everyone. The only change I didn't like is the removal of the headphones jack, but I don't use wired headphones anymore.

i mean it sounds good if you are away from home or editing, but when gaming/streaming i feel like the windows computer would be better. (btw if u didnt know u can connect ANY phone to windows from phone link but apple does it better)
