Understanding How The BANNER System Works | Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves, just like any good gacha has quite the extensive banner system, that you're going to want to fully understand before your resources on it.

There's a lot of really easy mistakes you can make when it comes to the banner system, so this relatively short guide on how the banner system works in Wuthering Waves should hopefully help a couple of people out.

Especially for those that might not have played a title like this one before.

You have a great voice for making these types of videos and good pacing. The info was accurate as well but for your recommendations, I disagree with some of them.

I really liked your recommendation not to pull on the Standard Character Banner. As you pointed out. we will get those characters anyway when we lose 50/50. Not to mention that you cannot pick which Standard character you want.

On the weapon banner though, when you are starting out in the game (at the moment is only released recently) getting a 5 star weapon for your main damage dealer can be a huge boost to your account. You are guaranteed the one you want on this one within 80 pulls. Since you already get some from the game for free, it's not much to just push that over the edge and land that sweet early top tier weapon. As other content creators have pointed out, they have a much higher base stat to work with and some really sweet skills. Let's not forget that you can move weapons from one character to the other as well!

That means you could use your 5 star sword on Danjin for one tower team, then swap it over to Sanhua for you other tower team, getting double use out of it. My Calcharo really benefits from the liberation damage on the broadsword as well. Maybe later in the life of this game, when we already have some 5 star weapons in our arsenal to choose from, I might avoid it. You might also be securing more tower rewards earlier by pushing your characters to that next level.

I would reconsider your "don't invest anything" recommendation here though. Especially for free to play, a weapon will get tons of use over the life of the game even more so, since they will likely be throwing all their funds at characters down the line. Those weapons will travel from the hands of one character to the next... Food for thought.

Just a question, i just installed Wuthering Waves, and when i checked the gacha, there was only beginner banner and the standard banners. I dont know what happened and also couldn't find anything related to it. Do you know how i can fix this?

Do limited time banner characters dissapear once their banner is gone or do they go into the standard banner?

i just wanna ask does pulls carry over the next limited banner so i lost 50/50 with yinlin and got jianxin but kinda lost time playing after i managed to pull 40 more but no longer have resources does that 40 pulls count towards the next banner so i can get my unit in the next 40 or does it reset back to zero and just keep my guaranteed limited after losing 50/50
