Spinning Reels or Baitcasters?

We use spinning reels because we use very small jigs or weightless live bait and need to overcome windy conditions. The Quantum Smoke is an incredibly light spinning reel that has a lot of power.

I usually use both spinning and baitcasters everywhere i go! You can't go wrong with having the variety of types of reels.

*Love this reel **allabout.wiki/01fs** but not entirely as advertised. Mine came with the reverse switch(I do not like the reverse switch - one more thing to go wrong and more complicated to rebuild) the pics did not show the reverse but it came with it anyways. I do still recommend this reel, it is awesome.*

Great tip for saltwater gear.but can u use saltwater gear to fish freshwater! Ie.. the quantum smoke reel and or poles

Bought the smoke about a week ago and seems to be holding up fairly well. Need a good rod for the sl40pt. Any advice? was going to go with the gloomis rods but didn't have the money to buy the reel and a 250 dollar rod so I just went with a field and stream tech spec. What size and brand of braid would you recommend also? I have 150 yds of 15lb fins on currently.
