Shimano Curado DC vs Shimano SLX DC

Got an SLX DC today for sure in love with it

Got the SLX DC 151. Price has never budged so I figured no use in waiting!

The Shimano Curado DC & the Diawa Tatula 100H are hands down my two most favorite baitcasters. Not only are they great quality casters, but they're also extremely beginner friendly.

Tbh the dc whine get's old after a little while, both my dc reels are just sitting on the shelves now. They are not a bad reel for beginners to learn on but I'd rather more control over the brakes. Also I would choose the SLX DC XT from japan over these 2 reels, mgl spool and i-dc 5 chip and cheaper than the Curado DC

Got a curado dc today haven’t used it yet but it is super sweet

I love my curado, and boy do I get some serious long casts from it. Best one out of the few other brands I have

Have a curado and while its amazing for preventing backlashes on windy days, i cant cast near as far as i can with my others which is a big selling point for me. Have it for the fiancee to use as a beginner reel

Slx is a good reel for the price. As long as you don't mind the retrieval rate

Hated the whine and not being in total control of it. Good beginners reel though expensive.

You have a whole lot less line on the slx dc compared to the curado dc, which makes a huge difference.

Forsure the curado but both those reels I'm assuming was on four and tension knob wasn't very loose

I have the scorpion dc . I use it only for spinnerbait fishing. Its a heavy reel . I prefer my curado mgl non dc much more

The curado really is a smoother more refined reel. For the extra money. It’s worth it.
