I tried and failed multiple times with good editing and planning. About three months ago, I started creating and posting sh*t animation shorts, and guess what? I got monetized in three months. I can't believe it.🤦🏽

I was told by an EX never start a channel because im annoying and no one wants to watch me. This may be true but they like watching German Shepherds.

I’ve been making shorts for a few weeks now, and randomly one of my videos starting blowing up. Now that I’ve seen this video I’ll try to use it and hope that it starts to blow up.

Also I’ve just reached 100 subscribers yesterday.

1.5 years and I’m almost at 1000. This job is hard but worth it. Starting lean deeper into long form content these days. If anyone feels like swapping ideas let me know.

Hey John give me 7 minutes of your editing skills haha. It's "Good enough" is a key point. We will ALWAYS find things we could of done better but we gotta move on!

These are all very valuable tips and I really love your videos. Regarding looking straight into the camera lense, it depends. I've seen videos with milions of views where the person in the video is clearly looking sideways... Sometimes the content is more important than whether the person is looking into the camera or not. This being said, I get what you meant.

This was THE EXACT video Ive been looking for. Ive been trying to study so many other channels intros, what worked for them, which ones did better and what not.

Great video, dont stop trying everyone!

All of us small channels keep going! Started making videos, and it has made me more confident! Even though my edits are bad I still have a great time 🎉

5 min or less videos… might never get the watch time for monetization but I love the shorter form content and so far it’s been a blast creating!

I always attempt to make my thumbnails follow those three steps, brighter colors help more often, either that or higher contrast (basically things need to stick out)
