Regulating my schedule was key for me. Some days I am more tired and cannot hit the weight x reps in the program. If I try to grind my way through it, I end up getting too fatigue to complete my sets. I'd get a much better value in my workout if I dial it back a bit.

For the record, this concept also applies to diet. If your overall calorie intake is under your burned calorie rate, then you will be losing weight in the long term. But what you eat determines how you look day to day. For instance, if you don’t eat fiber, your going to weigh more because your likely consitpated. Etc

Yea my strength has been pretty stagnant lately. I hit 230lbs bench and 275lbs squat and was not able to progress in around 2 months. Work, School, and Life gets in the way which effects my sleep, fatigue, and especially diet. I would love to progress in weightlifting/powerlifting but it’s just hard to balance everything. Shi imma senior and got my whole career/life to plan out too. We will see what happens.

Ugh this was me today, missing a deadlift I'd done for easy reps last week and not even coming close to the max I was supposed to pull.

Super frustrating but it's nice hearing someone experienced talk about it.

I'm legit struggling with this with my deadlift this week. I tried deadlifting twice this week and both occasions I fucked up. Hopefully next week it's better. I've also been abusing my body with my regular job too, so I guess I'm just dead tired rn.

I've been going to the gym daily for over 6 months, saw good progress at start, and then stalled. I changed my technique and my strength started going up again.

Doing 531 ive noticed over the past week ive really only had energy to do the main movement then get out, just can't get through the accessories. I guess thats what 4.5 hours of sleep does to a man.
