I literally can’t thank you enough for this. I thought I was experiencing AFIB (even though my family has no history of heart issues and I’m a pretty healthy 15 year old) and even though my pulse monitor on my phone was showing up very normal I was still worried because I have extreme anxiety. This sounds nothing like my heart beat! Thank God!

They day I found out I had afib I woke up feeling fine but had these weird unexplained muscle spasms in my chest. Moving made the spasm worse and I decided to check my pulse on my Apple Watch. When it couldn’t find my pulse I tried to find it myself and I realized my heart rate was in lockstep with the spasms. I checked myself into the ER and they told me I was in afib. That was a scary day, but they treated me with medicine and ran some tests and I was out of the hospital the next day. I have to take a some medication and try to keep myself calm now, but for the most part life goes on relatively normal. So far I only get the occasional flutter.

My anxiety spiked listening to that, I have always had a pounding heart at rest and thought I had AFib, but I've never experienced or felt beats like in the video. I guess I have a different issue!

I have paroxymal afib. Mine shoots up to 200bpm (according to ECG) but realistic BPM's are about 140-160bpm. I took a stethoscope when i had an episode and it sounded like a bad washing machine. Freaked me out but my heart went back to normal ryhtm after 5-10 min. Its scary but if you dont have any underlying conditions with your heart and it is healthy (other than having afib), you are ok as long as it does go back 15-20 minutes in AFIB as the longer that lasts, its bad news bears for heart clots = stroke. And you'll feel light headed and pass out. Most AFIB go back to normal but if it doesnt, you have to get cardioverted in the hospital. Often times, they resort to chemicals and reduce your heart rate.

Thank God for this video. My heart rate has neot been the same since I had a PSVT episode following a cold drink two weeks ago. My Fitbit doesnt even give me sleep scores since due to inconsistent heart rate. But my Fitbit resting heart rate, pulse oximeter and my manual measurements of my pulse all show nothing like this. My pulse rate stays i the normal range for me -- 49 to 65 with resting HR staying about 54. But my rhythm is more like this: . . . . - . - . . . . . . . - . - . . ... . . . .- . . . . . . In fact it feels almost normal but for the skipped or slow beats that are there.

So, as long as it's a solid, repeating beat, you're good? Good to know.

Please can you also upload an atrial flutter heart sound as well at some point?

Le crud! It's suspected I might have this and this sounds like what I've been hearing lately. I have had these unexplained muscle spams people are mentioning too... huh.

I have this exact sound in my heart only faster. I've been to the hospital many many times and they say I'm fine. I know there's something seriously wrong. I'm having it really bad right now and my neck face and scalp are numb. I'm also super dizzy and so tired. I'm not bothering with the hospital. I see my GP tmr, but I have a bad feeling time is running out :(

My heart does this so often lol
Poor thing is working so hard, but I should not self diagnose or anything.

I just wanted to find a vid, that showed exactly my heart rhythm.

I woke up to my heart racing, and I could feel it beating all over the place. No rhythm just random beats, it was horrifying and I thought that was it for me. The ambulance I called was not nearly as concerned though. I was 29 at the time.

My heart has started beating fast and I've been feeling very fatigued since Oct. 27th and I have no idea why I suddenly felt like this.
