thinking that once you paid off your car you are not going to spend money on it is wrong..by the time you paid off your car, repairs are coming and trust me, they are expensive, plus adding all the stress and headaches you get from not having the car until it get fixed, uber, towing, waiting, missing work, sometimes, you have to rent a car while they are fixing your old car..all I want to say is that no matter what, leasing or buying a car, you will always have to spend money on it....

Buying is appealing for low value cars but for high value cars like Mercedes or BMW, leasing makes more sense to me. I drive a 7-series BMW and I don’t see myself driving such cars that get outdated in technology every 3-5 years beyond 3 years. People who drive high value cars rarely put in a lot of mileage on those cars.

Very insightful video. I believe a lease might be good for me because it will be my first car and I’d like to save as much as I can for the next 2-3 years to purchase a house.

Wow! I’ve been struggling with this decision to buy or lease and now I have better insight. I kept my Toyota for 17yrs so I keep cars for a long time….don’t like change. I will buy. Thanks for this…really appreciate it

Buying makes more sense if you don't want limits with your car. Financially having a car note forever can become stressful. Great comparison, makes you weigh your options when deciding whats best. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I understand the perspective of owning a car after a few years of payments, but I lean towards leasing due to concerns about hardware obsolescence and potential repair costs down the road. Corporations today often use materials that deteriorate right around the time warranties expire, leading to unexpected repair expenses.
With leasing, you can avoid some of these uncertainties and enjoy a newer vehicle without the long-term ownership risks.

Leasing sounds great if you already have a second car you own, and can afford it. After the lease is up you can buy it, get a new one, or just give it back because you already have a car.

Thank you for this information❤ Leasing sounds like a win for those who work from home and does not drive often, and the win is a new car often with a warrenty.

Very helpful! My parents are snowbirds in Florida and have been renting for a while. I’m trying to talk them into leasing instead of paying cash for a car. You’re great!

I don’t value vehicles period. They’re a liability. They depreciate like hell. Simple as that. I’m still driving my 02 Ram and 05 Buick. All of it is a money trap. Never should I hand over a down payment. Just get prequalified at your banking institution with the lowest possible rate of buying and a agreed upon term if buying. I’m only buying used in cash. I’m not in the business to make banks money. Great breakdown vid!

One thing ive noticed especially where I live in Atlanta is that most high income earners lease than buy. But average income earners more so buy their vehicles according to the data ive been looking at recently

Great Video. I own my car 2014 Ford Escape. Paid if off in 2021. I only have 60K miles on it after nine years. I think leasing will be my next move. I like the fact of the lease car being under dealership warranty. Thanks for great information.
