Another benefit of hydrogen peroxide is it can decompose into super safe elements hydrogen and oxygen. Its an extremely good fungicide for growing cultivated fungus because it will kill any fungus it touches and then oxygenate the soil so the fungus youre actually growing can consume the oxygen and dissolved invading fungus and grow back. The idea is the larger colony will survive and the hydrogen peroxide is harmless after a period of time.

I would not recommend hydrogen peroxide for getting blood off clothing. Over time it will weaken the fibers of the cloth. To remove blood from clothing I would suggest either Goop (a liquid hand cleanser often available at auto parts stores) or something specifically formulated for lingerie.

I haven't found this out until recently, i still use it on the initial wound for a deeper clean, then use iodine after that
