I do something similar with leftovers. Any leftover meat I chop up. I add any veggies I haven’t used during week. I had garlic & ginger. A splash of vodka. Fill with whatever broth you have on hand (I make a lot of homemade broths, I have pork, duck, goat broths for the purpose of cooking with rice). Put in rice cooker & cook.

the cuckoo model you use has a non-pressurized rice cooking program for sure, and is also likely to have a setting to adjust moistness and softness of rice

That looks great, one thing to add though is cooking the basil in aswell, the aroma of the basil will perfume the rice. Pad Krapao translates to "stir-fried basil". Anyways, I'll definitely give this a try once I'm studying abroad!

Bonus points if you keep frozen homemade broth and use it for this... Cause the rice comes out delicious.

I'd cook this on a pot over a stove rather than my rice cooker because it'll eventually still have that lingering flavors, and idk I don't want that when I want plain white rice. I'm going to follow this recipe tnx.
