Today I am going to teach you how to make the original FETTUCCINE ALFREDO! They are super creamy and absolutely delicious! #shorts

Ingredients (serves 4):
-360gr fettuccine
-150gr cold butter
-150gr Parmigiano cheese (grated)
-salt (for the pasta water)

Boil your fettuccine pasta in some salted water. In the meanwhile, put your butter in the freezer. Very cold butter will make the pasta super creamy!

Pour your boiled fettuccine in a shallow dish or a cold pan (no heat), add your cold butter and the Parmigiano cheese little by little. Stir for at least a couple of minutes and add a couple of spoons of pasta water if needed.

Serve your super creamy FETTUCCINE ALFREDO and enjoy! Buon Appetito!

It’s so good yet so very simple technically it’s lighter because you’re not adding heavy cream to it, of course you have enough fat from butter and parm as it is.

Other people use cream and cottage cheese but this looks alot better then doing that for me its be really hard to find an alfredo thats not to much sauce to the pasta i dont like my pasta dripping sauce i want just enough to wet the pasta so i can still taste it

it was invented at the end of the 19th century, but Alfredo only opened his restaurant in 1914. You forgot to add pasta water.
