Don't go to gym. Don't train. Don't read books. Work part time & save money to buy GPU. A true gamer

Yeah I think most people are more concerned about the less than $1K cards.

THE rtx 5090 will be unaffordable for most. IT will be quite a bit mrore expensive than the 4090 which was alreasdy insane. sad news for most. The 5080 is a total let down. 16gb?? i mean it doesnt evenmake sense with 16gb. should have been 20gb minimum

Why so many trolls, he's making content. Hes covering 5090 for a reason, it doesn't matter if many wont or cant buy it. Sometimes people just want to hear outside opinions and research thats what RGT provides. If you can buy it great, if you cannot then get something else, or biy tue previous gen, stop the silly haterade😂🤡

Cmon man every fucking year they "leak" information "accidentally". This manipulation is getting old and beyond stupid. I been a gamer since before tetris consoles. I gave up on gaming because it just doesnt make sense anymore. Prices are ridiculous! Greed and profit sucks the life out of anything nice in the world. P.S. F U Jensen or whatever his name is. The one with the black leather jacket....

It surprises me is that we haven't
had a cooler leak, yet we're so close to launch

RTX 5000 looks like another VRAM starved product line on the low to mid range.
Nvidia got me with the VRAM in that I ended up with a 4070 TI Super to escape the anemic 12GB.
Now that I've experienced RT I can turn it off knowing I'm not missing anything.
Come on AMD, give me a reason to go back.

I am currently working on a AM5 build, the first time I am using a AMD CPU in over 23 years. Getting the 9950X3D along with the most powerful RDNA 4 graphics cards.

Nothing new said here then. Lots of pictures of the 4090 though.🙄

The 4090 was very good value for the performance it offered. Looking forward to the 5090.

200 fps should be minimum for a 60 series GPU by now

Don't UPGRADE until THESE GPUs COME OUT EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN'T AFFORD

"What the production volume is going to be of the cheaper cards"
That is not how it works. It depends on the production quality of the wafers. This is also why the high end cards release before the mid range, and in turn before the lower end cards.
First we test the chips to see if they hit a certain minimum performance. If they meet the criteria, they go in the X090 'bin' and are pushed out the first for production. Then we do some more testing on the chips and see which ones meet the X080 threshold. and so on.
Later in the process we might end up with batches that weren't good enough for for the X090 but overperformed the X080 specs. Then we might get a Ti version, SUPER version. etc. Reasons COULD be for example the chips perform well like a X090 but lack the memory bandwidth. Or produce too much heat at the target frequency, among other things.
Lower end cards are basically left overs of leftovers. And sometimes there might be such a large batch of bad chips, they release a bottom of the barrel skew like X050 and X030.

It is not the case that there is sepperate production volumes for each skew. There is one production and the chips get filtered by perfomance. The target of the chips are actually top of the line server/workstation. There's a bit more to it, but this is the basic gist of it.

The AI community I'm on had gotten quiet about the 50 series. The 5090 doesn't have enough vram to be a single GPU they need 48gb to run the models they want, and 2x 3090s is a better bargain.

Such a British thing to start a sentence with "To be honest.."
No, you should ALWAYS be honest.
