There's a study that showed humming increases nitric oxide production in the sinuses 15 fold. I saw this a few days and have been doing humming and inhaling through the nose techniques. I like to feel where the vibration moves when I go from a low hum to a high hum. It's very interesting it feels like the vibration changes direction moving from the throat. I've heard of the Aum meditation which might be the same thing and could be for the same purpose but I don't know if that meditation necessarily calls for breathing in through the sinuses to get the nitric oxide but it might be just as or even more helpful to let it absorb through the sinuses which I remember from Scarface is a good way to administer drugs. I think we're supposed to breathe it in though and there's another study from the NIH that says deep yogic breathing into the belly has long lasting helpful effects on blood pressure and hormone levels. I might as well add, 🤪, sunlight in the first and last few hours of the day has been shown in studies to dramatically increase ATP production and some other stuff I can't quite remember but it's the infrared light that does it and there's less blue light but might be enough to make the vitamin D we need. 🕉️

I've done pulmonary functions and noticed that when my patients do the maximal ventilators force tecnique by hyperventilating deep and fast for 10 to 15 seconds, they all get dizzy, because the co2 gets washed out from tge brain.
I also did pulmonary rehab and did the pursed lib breath technique and saw the effects.
With due respect, the blowing should be at the pace you are breathing at what ever activity you are doing but exhaling- blowing ar a count of 3, for severe emphysema patients blow- exhale at a country of 4.
Normal ratio of inhalation to exhalation us 1:2. One time to inhale and 2 times to exhale. AND, you don't have to take a deep breath to breath or relax better, that gives more work to the heart, just blow not fast, not slow on the count of 3.
It works cause Tha gases change quick!
This is IDEAL for people lifting weights or exercising because it keeps less acid in the body as Co2 is better ventilated and the PH is less acidic, which is good for the muscles. I've been ventilating people's lungs for 30 years.

As an RT, the blowing is too hard. If you do too many of those, you cranial co2 will go too low and you'll feel fainty. Do the blowing not too fast not too slow.

pranayama- Indian yoga is highly advanced on the science of breathing, you forgot to extend your exhalation to be longer than inhalation.

Please correct me if I was misinformed. Breath into your nostrils as much as possible, hold for several seconds then exhale.

Thank you. I heard this heals erectile dysfunction too. Makes since, as nitric oxide is important for that function.

Thanks for demonstrating! It was also possible to let the air out through the nostrils.

I designed a positive respiratory brain patterning device for the hyperbaric oxygen institute for children with cerebral pawlsey it showed them how to breath in once and out twice as much . Every one's breathing rate is different .
