I had a stray cat adopt us too. He sat on the porch for 2 days then just walked in and we had him 16 years.

I have two cats, both are 9 years old, I've adopted them 8 years ago, they never pushed anything on purpose from an edge or whatever. They are both very well behave.

"That's just a prick move."

My cat sits on a folding stand next to me all day while I work. He doesn't often knock shit off my desk but if I am ignoring him he'll tap me on the arm a few times. If I continue to ignore him he'll start softly knocking things off.

For the first two seconds of the video, my cat’s looked at me when they heard the meows coming from my phone 😂

I loved seeing Kristen losing her shit.
She's generally very giggly, but in this video we got an extra dose of that, and I'm all for it!

When cats knock something off the counter, they’re literally just trying to get your attention… they want something in that area… or just some attention

A cat showed up one night with her three kittens out of nowhere, around 10 years ago. Never seen that cat before that moment. My mom fed her milk and after that she started showing up everyday. Her 2 generations lived with us. She and her daughter had a fight for the neighborhood for 2 days. She left after that (Because I think she lost) and haven't seen her since maybe 2017. And her daughter which she faught with, lived with us after that. She disappeared in 2019. Haven't seen her since then. I just hope that she and her mother are fine somewhere out there.

I've had 4 cats in my life separately and none of them have ever knocked over anything like in those videos. Most of my cats have been typically aloof but my current one is the soppiest loving cat ever. I sometimes question if she even is a cat. She feels like a gentle dog.

The reason is because it probably wants attention, you don't get angry when kids break stuff to get attention

I grew up in a house on a dead end road so we had every cat and dog breed on the planet(we lived in the middle of nowhere) my husband and I have 2 dogs in our own house and that's enough for us!

Yes cats who have owners that do not care and interacts with them very rarely get board, and may push things over. Because they want to play. The trick is, (play with them more ofc) and have two cats. And everyone says cats are assholes, no they are humans. If a human don´t want you to touch him/her and you do, they explode and tell you to f off. They do not go, oh that´s very kind of you but i don´t want you to do that right now so could you not, please. And if you are afraid that cats may "attack" you´re child, maybe teach the child to respect the cat and wait for the cat to come to them. You do not let you´re child run up to a dog in the park do you, the dog may feel threatened and bite. (And the dog get killed for being dangerous) Same with cats, let them chose when to cuddle.

Dogs think:
They feed me
They pet me
They love me
They are God

Cats think:
They feed me
They pet me
They love me
I AM GOD

My very first cat, back in the 1980s, was all white, a hilarious klutz, and bonded to me to the point of (if I let him "sleep through bedtime" in the TV room), he would run up the stairs to my room, _wake me up_ so he could get under the covers with me, and sorry in my arms the rest of the night (as he actually did every night). When I adopted him I named him Bast, after the Egyptian cat deity. Eventually I discovered to my chagrin that the deity Bast was/is... a goddess.
But my Bast recognized and _answered to his name_ (coming to me when called). So I figure he (and the goddess Bast) didn't mind her name going to a male cat.

My cat Pooka has long since decided he _hates_ being inside, and I'll bring him in (at night), and while often he'll just figure Eff It It's Not Worth The Effort and he'll just sleep, many nights he'll demand to be let out... not only by singing the song of his people, but at mega decibel Metropolitan Opera level.
Once inside for the night, my other three cats (Pooka's sister Sprite, and their "stepbrother" ginger cats Oscar and Oliver), just ignore him while the gingers take turns sleeping in my arms...
