What is wrong with people saying that dogs are better than cats they are both great pets but once the research has been done on cats they are behaving very similar Smartness wise and most cats do know their own names and have great problem solving skills similar to dogs.

I’ve had both Cats and a Dog as pets back when I was younger my uncles and dad always brung cats in and they all ran away and the last cat they brought in was named KCS which stood for King Cole Sir meows a lot which ran away after my aunt left the door open and he tried to come back and it was raining but they didn’t let him in and with my mom I have a dog who’s name is Penny

Unless you’re allergic to cats or have terrible trauma with them, I feel like you shouldn’t walk around and say cats are awful, because they actually have a lot of health benefits, and are honestly a good life lesson to use,
For a dog, it instantly loves you, meanwhile for cats, you need to earn that trust, and it teaches children and parents that in life, you can’t always just get everything you want immedetly, and that things are more rewarding when earned.
But either way, both are amazing, I own 3 cats and 1 dog (I used to own 2, but one had to be put down because of a future king and heart shut down due to age, We didn’t get rid of my current dog because I wasn’t traumatized ((luckily)) from the other dog mauling me)
I think people who say cats are bad animals, purely because they don’t show them love, are just brats.
But again, if you have an *actual* reason, it makes sense. ^^
I’m not a cat person, or dog person, I just like both, I think both should be loved equally and given a fair chance at love ^v^

Just because cats don't frantically run around when they see you, or love to be pet literally everywhere, doesn't make cats inferior! Cats are more "introverted" and show love in other ways, they'll gladly lay next to you while read a book, and often like to walk beside you when outside. My cat in particular was really scared of fireworks on new year's eve and she was in the living room under the couch, but when I went to another room she followed me just to make sure I was safe, once she saw me, she stayed with me while we went to the living room again. Once I thought she wanted food, but she just wanted me to follow her just so I could cuddle her. These are only my experiences, but I hope you get a better picture of them! (Dogs are also really amazing too btw!) (Also they shouldn't be compared because they're entirely different animals)

1:50 are u sure about that my childhood dogs went to another person's house and just lived there, they would only come to my house for ONLY FOOD when the person is going on a business trip. My cats have never betrayed me.
