I’ve found grazing it on a rock or concrete real quick usually sharpens them up real nice. Although I’m not sure if contamination is an issue for critical applications

I learned tat for a pipeline welder, he would bum the power on grinder, then tap on it while is slowing down, works well.

Taught my helper years ago to stand there hitting a file on the disk while I was welding the root in. I think they cut a lot faster than even a new disk.

I use a 3m cubitron grinding disc and I never found one that cuts and lasts as long. It is pricey but worth it

Man, when I was grinding beads in the pipe gang we didn’t have time to be that gentle with a slick disc.

Since B&D is not making the wildcat grinder anymore what is everyone using? I used to get a couple of dozen new wildcats every job when I was straw boss.

just bang that rock disk into the bevel a good time or two while you’re grinding your bead & it does same thing in a fraction of the time

I remember one day I locked my grinder on and it got away from me without the guard was a wild ride to say the least I think I actually threw all my guards away, so am a bit more careful these days
