1st time I have been able to find someone talking about "normal" vs "optimal." Thank you!

I've just had a CGM fitted yesterday, less than 24 hours ago, and I already have so much data to go on! This is very useful information, thank you!

So wish you could use both mmol/L and mg/dL for a global understanding.

This is an extremely good video. Thanks so much for sharing! Most of these videos about glucose levels are just full of waffle and no hard numbers. This was exactly the information I needed. Thanks!

The data for “normal” is really not existing. Neither is optimal.

Thhank you for this videeo! My level is 96 and even though it’s “normal” i feel i should strive for optimal levels as you mentioned. Question: is Diabetes 2 reversible once someone has it?

Excellent data. I have well-controlled Type 2 Diabetes (and GERD) first diagnosed this year with an A1C of 7.3 brought down to and maintained at 5.5 with medication. But I started wearing a CGM this week, because I didn't understand what I was feeling, why I had significant morning fatigue for 3 hours, why I couldn't adequately judge my energy levels for my aggressive exercise schedule (despite losing 60 pounds in 9 months).

With the CGM I find - I have 'normal' or even 'optimal' glucose almost all day & night. With 1 exception. My peaks are currently 160-180 thanks to what I found out was totally the wrong breakfast cereal choice - also leading to glucose levels around 70, 2 hours after breakfast right when I feel the severe lethargy. I'm thankful to this video to get a better idea of priorities and can really tune my exercise (90 minutes a day) to take advantage. Now bad for a 61yo old fart :)

I was reckless yesterday evening, going out for a 3-mile walk in the evening, when I knew my glucose was trending down and I had the alarm go off as I got home with it at 67. But a rest, a cheese sandwich (wholegrain brown bread) and I was fine. Not doing that again though, now I know.
