In this video, we're going to talk about blood sugar and what's normal for a blood sugar level.

What is a normal blood sugar level?
• 80-100 mg/dL (could be less if you don't consume sugar)

This is the ratio of how much sugar you have in your blood.

The average American consumes 31 teaspoons of sugar every day, which is 130-145 pounds of sugar per year. This is why most of the population is becoming prediabetic or diabetic.

Symptoms of prediabetes:

• You get tired after you eat
• You crave sweets
• You're not satisfied after you eat
• You can't go many hours without eating, and then when you eat you feel better

You don't need a lot of glucose (sugar) in your diet to have normal blood sugars. I believe you shouldn't be consuming any sugar at all. If you don't consume sugar, you could clear up so many different health problems.

Hi Dr. Berg..I used to have 105-110 sugar levels constantly. Two months into keto and blood sugar levels are at 88 after 1 hour of eating. Guess at fasting will be way lower. I'm asthmatic, COPD and chronic sinus. Cut sugars, carbs and bread next to cero and started gym thanks to you. With the Lord's help and following your advices will become asthma, COPD and allergy-free soon.

You will probably never receive Youtuber of the year award, but you should. A voice of sanity in this sugar-fogged universe.

Today is day 4 without sugar. I carefully track all sources, including ingredients in sources. I feel good. Low stress and plenty of sleep, so that helps me in my particular situation to cope. I didn't eat a lot to begin with, except for some binges. I will satisfy hunger with foods other than sugar.

I'm a former pre-diabetic. I went Keto (initially Atkins) about 3.5 years ago when my doctor told me to be prepared to start taking diabetic medication (Metformin). Now I'm no longer pre-diabetic with stable blood glucose.
Simply changing your diet is the best way to avoid or control diabetes. It's criminal that doctors don't change their patient's diets, instead telling them to eat whole grain, low fat garbage and prescribing them drugs to control their blood glucose.

yes. this depends on life style. i had nearly one year sleep disorder because staying in poor housing and mosquitoes bites though i was using mosquito net. i drunk cola in liters and liters few months back continuously. then accidentally it happened to check my blood sugar level ...then i found it was above normal. doctor suggeted me to drink ayurvedic medicine made off turmarick as main ingredient in that. i started eating low carb millets in the place of rice and sugar level came to normal stage. in the initial stage if its type two...u can reverse it by replacing rice or wheat with millets. eat wallnuts..egs..red here and there and more exercise like swimming...climving steps...more sleep....enough to control and reverse. hats off to these videos. great job. think rationally ...live happily. God bless

When we say sugar some will understand "table sugar" but there actually is more to it than just the white thing we have on our table. Bread breaks into sugar inside your body, same with banamas, apples, pineapples, rice, noodles, etc

i was just thinking that till 1997 the blood  reading upto 140mgl was acceptable-this was reduced to126 which was further reduced to 100 in 2003, though WHO continues to accept 126 as the normal limit one wonders whether all our testing on glucometer and Of course tension
 is worth it?
Then I am reminded that a life with no panic, eating right and enough exercise and every thing in moderation is the key. Above all to remember that our days are numbered... Have faith in God and enjoy every movement.
