Climate Activists Glue Their Hands to Ferraris in Protest

Climate activists glued their hands to sports cars to protest the automotive industry. Members of the group Extinction Rebellion went to the Paris Motor Show to raise awareness for the use of fossil fuels. Chanting “Auto show of destruction" and “Extinction Rebellion,” about a dozen people unfurled a banner in front of a display of Ferrari sports cars. Several of those people reportedly glued their hands to the cars.

As an ex-security guard I have to ask this. How the h€ll did they pas the security checkpoint with those banners and glue? And where is the security guards who usually needs to be near those things to prevent things like this?!!

So destroying art and classics and things that cannot be redone or rebuilt like famous paintings or original cars that will maybe need repainted and then their value destroyed is the wrong way to go about this.

As a car lover myself, this made me very upset, how dare they vandalize the Ferraris, and glue their hands onto these cars' beautiful paintwork, causing it to get damaged. This isn't how you spread the message, this just makes things worse than better.

Also thanks for advertising a motor show I've never heard before, sure to visit it when I do get the chance to go to Paris.
