Thank you, Dr. Flowers for what you do and for speaking the truth. I grew up very Calvinistic and this is the way I was taught. Like we witness because it’s our duty!

I suffered greatly from calvinistic thinking. My view of God and man changed. I had way better fruit under arminian doctrine and greater zeal and love for God and man.

Calvinists inevitably recoil when their position is stated plainly, and this not straw-manning. The only disagreement they show is not with the substance but with the wording. If I say “advanced in age, ” it doesn’t change the fact that I mean old. In both instances I haven’t, of course, stated how old, but the phrase and the word mean the same thing. “Passing over” is the same thing as God damning, since on Calvinism determinism (which they erroneously call predestination) is double-edged. On Calvinism, there is no reason for this but an arbitrary choice. In the Bible itself God states why He passes some over. Calvinism is an extra-biblical concoction. It should be opposed and rejected.

I hope some day I'll hear a Calvinist preach the gospel. So far, it's a dead zone. No Calvinist can say, "Christ Jesus died for your sins!" which we can say, joyously. And any system which inhibits the preaching of the Gospel cannot be of God.

God used my time as a Calvinist to help me grow as a Christian and for that I’m grateful but that being said, Calvinism is an extremely dangerous doctrine that is found nowhere in the scriptures.

Great video, but you left out the bit where the Calvinist God has to Vulcan mind-meld the elect *against their will* while he discriminates against the non-elect goat people.

"I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. And men will rise up from your own number with deviant doctrines to lure the disciples into following them."
Acts 20:29-30

Paul was no Calvinists, if anything he warned about their type.

AMEN, brothers, well said!
"Sheep" are those that had already been following the Father so they would surely hear His voice through the Son and follow Him...those that did not hear His voice were the religious Jews that were FOLLOWING what their fathers taught them. Their fathers MADE them into Pharisees and such, NOT GOD...they were formed into what they became by the traditions that caused them to become blind and deaf to the actual things of God...the Jews HEARD the "voice of God" through their traditions because their fathers taught them that God's voice IS their "traditions", so when Jesus came and spoke against their traditions they cried CRUCIFY. They became fools by what their fathers them.

So, please allow me to explain:
The fathers that DID NOT bow their knees to Baal taught their children GOD'S humble way and it was their children that heard God's voice and followed Jesus.🤗
The fathers that DID bow their knees to Baal taught their children ANOTHER much more glamourous way and it was their children that did not hear God's voice and follow Jesus...("An unattractive man on a donkey, I don't think so!")🤨
Therefore, the majority of Israel would not follow Jesus because their own fathers turned them into stubborn goats.
This is so simple and that's why it's SO FRUSTRATING! 😫

John 5
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

41 I receive not honour from men.

42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Jeremiah 9
13 And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

Acts 7:51
“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.”

Acts 13:46

“Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.”

Acts 18
4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Acts 28:28
“Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.”

Why would we hear and gladly receive salvation through Christ Jesus?
Because our fathers were acting like fools painting themselves blue and worshipping sticks... there has to be a better way 🤦‍♀️

It's BRILLIANT!
God is hilarious!

1 Corinthians 1:21
“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

You don't need to spend $80, 000 in seminary to understand, you just have to be willing to hear him out and let him explain that we were fooled by false teachers and to turn from them.

Proverbs 2:6
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Acts 17
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12 THEREFORE many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

The Lord giveth to enable us to receiveth 💌

Psalms 94:8
“Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?”

The truth hurts as it's going down, I know, I've been there...GULP!

Paul was also not a Covenant theologian. Paul was ( he became ) a right divider. He received a new revelation from Christ. It's tragic that most of 'the church' has rejected Paul's revelation for 2000 years and instead has clung to the heresy of Augustin(e). It isn't just calvinists that are deceived and are deceiving many.

Paul also said that he became all things to all men that by all means he might save some. Yes indeed, he was the worst Calvinists of all time and inspired by the Holy Spirit at that! The sooner we have a new Reformation and rid Christendom of this heresy the better.

Thankfully, not all Calvinists approach evangelism that way.

But the view does LEND itself to doing that, and I've even heard Calvinists say that, when they've been, let's say, "not so winsome, " that it doesn't matter how winsome they are with folks, because God has to do the drawing.

Acts 28 (which you mentioned) suspiciously records the start of Paul's ministry in Rome and is immediately followed by the book of Romans. Coincidence? I think not.
Not only does Acts 28 talk about Paul spending time persuading them (cause someone to do something through reasoning or argument), but it also says that some were persuaded and some disbelieved.
In 28:27, it says the hearts of this people have GROWN dull". What does GROWN mean? For something to grow, it had to initially be something else or at a different stage. Grown literally means "a living thing undergoing natural development by increasing in size and changing physically; or to progress to maturity".
THEIR ears are hard of hearing.
And THEIR eyes THEY have closed.
Lest THEY should see with THEIR eyes and hear with THEIR ears, lest THEY should understand with their hearts and TURN, SO THAT I SHOULD HEAL THEM".
Doesn't sound very calvinistic to me.
Then comes the book of Romans which has many times been said that Paul is teaching calvinism 🤔

Very good work fellas.

Wrestle grammatically with Mark 16:15-16 and find an argument that completely destroys the Calvinistic worldview on salvation.

Not withstanding the inadequacies often foisted against whether the text should be included (I believe there is sufficient evidence to demonstrate that it should), the passage itself on its own merits completely removes the salvific proposition of any form of Calvinism.

Is this why it's mostly Calvinists who tout presuppositional apologetics?

I think at the core of many "Calvinists" is the belief that since He has chose me and not others is that they are forever His. I am not a Calvinist but a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ but I do see in Scripture both that God has chosen us which in the Greek means "selected" in 1 Corinthians but also "whosoever will" and that God does not will that any should perish. We can have full assurance that God chose us as well as He didn't create people for Hell which is hyper-Calvinism. At the end of the day, as Paul said, and I hope I don't apply this wrongly, but as long as the Gospel is being preached(aslong as its the true Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ), praise God. I know Paul is talking about the motives behind preaching the Gospel, how some were preaching to hurt him when he says this but it seems like it would apply here. God bless you today. I am a man so I could be wrong on this.

Can’t understand why Christ died for the whole world but did not offer salvation to some for whom He died. Makes no sense.

This is a grave accusation. Esau and Jacob were both evil, but who rejected God, and who desired the things of God? It’s the deceitful Jacob who deceitfully attained the birthright. Esau was not deceitful yet, it was summarized, "Esau despised his birthright." And what happened after Jacob wrestled God; his name became Israel, he's no longer the old Jacob.
