HOW I MEMORISED ALL OF HUMAN ANATOMY IN 6 WEEKS (Full Video)

Exams are really just a test of memory. And unfortunately, most of us are born with just an ‘okay’ memory. So, are the top scores just for the Mike Rosses? Well, no. Even with a pretty average memory, we can learn to memorise lots of things at a very quick pace. The key to this is realising that not every fact requires understanding. Once you buy into this, the process of memorisation becomes very simple. Lots of things require just memorisation and demand very little understanding. For these kinds of facts, I use my rapid encoding strategies such as the story, journey and mnemonic methods. Then I maintain the facts within the memory stores using spaced practice and active retrieval. Finally, I speed up recall with the help of the testing effect as well as quick triggers such as letters within mnemonics or locations within the journey. Try these strategies out and thank me later! #memory #studytips

I'm (nearly) a 9th grader and I've been using these sound and story associations since 5th or 6th grade I believe.
What I want to say is that they really are useful and have helped me a lot.

All good tips but you didn’t mention how you can apply this to studying anatomy specifically… the title says anatomy….

You can take this idea and turn it into a 3d model that's interactive as a mobile app!

Very interesting. What I generally do is try to understand the content and practice active recall which generally was quite successful but i wold get a migraine after a while and would have to take a break. Im hoping that this blind association method will solve my issue!

@Doctor Shaene Are you saying that someone could potentially sit down and learn all of what is taught within a standard medical degree curriculum in 6 or so weeks (maybe up to 6 months) if they used these strategies perfectly ?
