Yoga Inspiration: Feel It All | Meghan Currie Yoga

I have spent many years contemplating, questioning, experimenting and peeling back the layers of what it means to be present and really feel. This doesn’t make me a master at it, actually for me the schooling never stops. But it’s this ongoing exploration I’m most passionate about sharing. Not as “someone who knows”, but as a seeker on a parallel quest to discover.

I believe there's a higher purpose and intelligence woven throughout our lives and that it’s not a mistake to be moved, sometimes intensely, by our feelings. They can be our guides, and powerful catalysts for learning, action and change. When avoided, they can act as a sleeping pill to stagnate and sedate, detaching us from our innate wisdom compass. This being said, I also believe there are valid reasons for avoiding feelings at times, that stem from deep patterning, and sometimes it can be necessary to do so for a moment.(that’s a whole other topic for another letter)

I suppose it’s a dance for each of us to learn; the dance of navigating when and how to stay awake, and when to give a little rest but hopefully not to sleep for too long…

Loving you,
Meghan
