thanks Mario. Can you please explain why the last column has to be all one entries? Is it obtained from the equation of a straight line? As in ax+by+c=0? where a, b are any points and c is a constant?

Thanks for informative video. I have a question though. If I have a tringle in 3d space with (1, 1, 0), (1, 0, 1) and (0, 1, 1).each side is sqrt (2). That gives me area of sqrt(3)/2. Whereas determinant gives me 1. Am I doing anything wrong?
