Turn 1/2 into a decimal which is 0.5 multiply by 18 u get 9... I get it ok cool

This formula is only applicable for right angle triangle 😅
If we find the area of this triangle by heron's formula the answer is 21✓11

I do it a bit different I do B•H / 2 b x h over 2

18 • 8 = 144 then I divide the 144 by 2 the bigger number inside and the 2 outside

2/144 which gives me 72in²
