Why does Poland hate Russia?
The first reason is that Poland was invaded multiple times by Russia and other neighbor countries. Also, in the recent years, Russia was extremely aggressive with it’s neighboring countries as a response to NATO expansion in the Eastern Europe.
The second reason is that after world war two, unlike Germany, Russia didn’t tried to improve it’s relationship with Poland and hasn’t paid any reparations.

The Poles suffered hard under the Soviets.

The Katyn massacre, it was a series of mass executions of nearly 22, 000 Polish military officers and intelligentsia prisoners of war carried out by the Soviet Union, specifically the NKVD ("People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs", the Soviet secret police) in April and May 1940. Mass graves by discovered by the Germans during Barbarossa.

The Poles were not part of the Soviet plans for the future. To remedy this, Stalin ordered the deportation of hundreds of thousands of people into the depths of the USSR where they would work the land, or in labor camps. The actual deportation was a horrendous experience which many people did not survive.

An estimated 150, 000 Polish citizens were killed by Soviet repressions.

Poland took the territories of Belarus and Ukraine from Russia in 1919 and paid the price in 39, and do not forget that the Poles participated in the division of Czechoslovakia and took Zaolzie, and when they were divided they became a victim.
