It boils down to Deryl Eves has a daughter that is a missionary for the Latter Day Saints church. IF WE WATCH and therefore support The Chosen, in a round about way we are paying part of his income, which is then supporting his daughter's mission trips, which is then supporting the spreading of false doctrine, and not just false doctrine, but downright ANTI Christ doctrine. Because if they don't believe Jesus is the One True God, then they do NOT worship the same Jesus as us! I do not want to in anyway support a false Christ. I want to support the spread of the gospel of the One True God. That's where I want my money and time to be invested. Sure, there may be good in the show an sure there might be entertainment. But false doctrine is sneaky and subtle. It hides itself in sheep's clothing and is just waiting for someone to devour. Let it not be YOU.

I like the Chosen, it brought me back to my faith, I now read the Bible more often. My girls watch it with me but I always saw it is a TV show and we always refer to the Bible. Another point I would like to make it that Dallas Jenkins has met with Rabbis, Pastors and Priests regarding all content with all his episodes. People say it is largely Mormon but the religious leaders he "checks" with (I can't think of another word, it's still early lol) give him feedback on the script, he then tweeks it. Dallas also says READ YOUR BIBLE! This show isn't supposed to replace your studying, reading and worshipping. He outright says it many many times. My older daughter felt connected to season 1 episode 8 at the end with the woman at the well, she was terribly bullied and was rejected by many. I saw her cry and she said, "That is me." This show inspired us to get back to our studies, brought me back to my life with Christ. I do not use them as Biblical resources nor do I think of them when I pray to my Savior. This show has lead MANY PEOPLE to pray and worship the Lord. I actually started watching this channel after I watched it for the first time. I have purchased several resources from you and they are GREAT!

Let me be clear.... JESUS loving and JESUS accepting everyone is NOT the same as JESUS SAVING! Jesus only saves those who come to Him, turn away from their life of sin, and make Him the Lord of their life. It doesn't matter how much He loves them or how much we love them, He's a holy God and we can't come to a holy God unless we come through the Christ of the Bible.

Amen. I agree completely. I had a "bad feeling" about the Chosen by listening to interviews by the producers. I've had friends say, "It's just entertainment." But too many people including lazy Christians get their theology and personal belief system from these kinds of "entertainment." Keep proclaiming the truth and speaking out, Nicki. You're helping people.

I haven't even watched one episode of "the chosen" but my husband loves it and even let our young children watch some episodes. When my husband initially told me about this new series, I immediately felt uncomfortable in my spirit. Couldn't understand why at first, as everyone speaks so greatly of it, but today, I know why the Lord God prevented me from watching it, although my husband continues to do ONLY the Holy Spirit can convict/convince him to stop. For me, I stay on my knees in prayer. Thank you dear sister, for speaking truth from the Inspired Word. The Bible is and should be our only main source of truth. I have debated on joining your bible studies and honestly I haven't only because I wanted to study and chapter map on my own but after seeing this video I think now is a great time to join you in your studies. Thank you for the super informative video! We live in a largely Mormon community. Very nice people, but more Christians need to understand that what they believe is drastically different than what the Bible teaches.

Thanks for this, I was going to download the app to watch the third season of the Chosen and I won't do it now. The other day I was going to download the Hallow app because the main character was talking about it and when I google him and saw he is catholic and saw in the app description the word rosary I said no this is not from Our God. The Holy Spirit make me google the main character in the series and I said no, I''m not downloading an app that you can read rosary every day or whatever else they put in that app. Thanks again for this video and put more videos like this exposing anything that is no the Truth. I know this was a hard video to do, Nicki. But you are speaking the truth to your viewers. I've had the same troubled spirit about the Chosen and agree with you that LDS followers are not believers and Catholics are idol worshippers by praying to statues and relics. Thank you for being brave in your defense of solid biblical teaching. You know we are in total agreement about being in the word, studying sound doctrine, and not following (or even fellowshipping with) people who preach "another gospel." Good job. Keep up your good work.
